Response to Job Interview Article

The article was very good and useful. It stresses the importance of being prepare for a job interview while also reinforcing some valuable issues. For example, one issue that was bought up that I really did not consider, was taking an umbrella in case it rains. I believe that it is vital to take an umbrella because employers looked very closely at appearance and a person that is seeking a job should not want to be wet while interviewing because of the problems that being wet can cause.
Moreover, preparation in advance is the single most vital factor that can determine how an interview goes. The more prepare a person is results in the better performance he/she will give. Going to a job interview can be one of the most stressful situations to a person but preparation in advance will relieve some of the stress.

10 Years From Now

Ten years from now, I can see myself as a very young successful person living the "good life". I plan to have a job working as a Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer with a professional sport team or professional athletes spefically in Atlanta or Charlotte. I also would want to at least have a fiancee or significant other in my life at the point and begin a family. Moreover, I can also see myself traveling the world and exploring new things.

Response to Video

The title of the video means that’s we are technically the web 2.0. Basically everything that we do on the web is a direct response to what we instill in computers and technology. The web is just an easier and quicker way of obtaining that information. Web 2.0 can affect someone ready to enter the work force by making work and life more convenient. Resumes can be posted online, interviews can be done over web cams, and jobs can be find through web searching. In addition, Web 2.0 also affects people already in the work force by allowing people to network with a more variety of people from all around the world instantly by emailing or faxing. We may need to rethink everything because at this point and time too many people rely on the web. If something would happen to the web world wide, it would be a total disaster.
